Considering the long time I had been using Fedora I thought to share my experience with other people. First thing that came in my mind was to make <\/span><\/span>a<\/span><\/span> meetup with all Fedora lovers, and not only, in <\/span><\/span>order<\/span><\/span> to create the fedora community in Albania.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n On 14-<\/span><\/span>th <\/span><\/span>February <\/span><\/span>we were together discussing about Fedora<\/a>. We learned more about <\/span><\/span>F<\/span><\/span>edora and its connection to RedHat<\/a> , how safe and stable is this operating system 100%free <\/span><\/span>and<\/span><\/span> open. We focused more on Fedora Project<\/a><\/span><\/span>, the<\/span><\/span> global partnership of free software community members <\/span><\/span>and the strong connection with <\/span><\/span>their<\/span><\/span> community<\/span><\/span>, <\/span>their mission <\/span><\/span>and <\/span><\/span>the four foundations (Freedom,\u00a0 Friends, Features, First). How to <\/span><\/span>get involved, contribute and collaborate <\/span><\/span>in Fedora Project<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Fedora comes installed with a wide range of software such as LibreOffice<\/a> and Firefox<\/a>. Additional software is available from the software repositories<\/a> and can be installed using the yum<\/a> <\/span><\/span>so we showed how to install some basic programs.During the presentation we saw a video-message of Giannis Konstantinidis Fedora Ambassador in Greece. We got to know better the latest version <\/span><\/span>F<\/span><\/span>edora 21 and what is new in it, Pidora specialized Fedora distribution for the Raspberry Pi<\/a>, also the differences between <\/span><\/span>F<\/span><\/span>edora and other distributions.
